Alanda Homes compiles three lists internally - one each from the architects, the technical department and the after-sales department. These are then merged into a definitive 'snagging' list and handed to the construction company to rectify.
If the problems are not dealt with to satisfaction in the allotted time, Alanda Homes commissions the work - ensuring the buyer is not inconvenienced.
The buyer has the right to inspect the apartment before completion and signing of the title deeds. They are encouraged and helped in compiling their own 'snagging' list, just in case anything has been overlooked by the internal 'snag team'.
In the first six months after purchase an on-site team will solve any immediate problems. This is in addition to a year guarantee on electrical appliances, one year's latent defect guarantee and a ten-year structural guarantee.
